We’ll board our canoe and sail downstream on the majestic Aguarico River, enveloped by the tranquility of the Amazon rainforest. Along the way, we’ll dive into the rich cultures of the indigenous peoples, starting with the Secoya tribe. At the cozy Secoya Lodge, we’ll have the privilege of immersing ourselves in their unique way of life, exploring their food, clothing, language, and traditional medicine. We’ll spend the night at this new and fascinating community project, sharing authentic moments with the Secoya people.

After a revitalizing breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to the Secoya tribe and continue our journey down the Aguarico River. On the way, we’ll visit the intriguing Shuar tribe, known for their warrior traditions. We’ll explore their community and culture through a tour of their museum, where we’ll discover their art and ancestral customs. Afterwards, we’ll continue our adventure until we reach the Kichwa Lodge, where we’ll stay and prepare for a day full of exciting activities. As we relax in our hammocks and enjoy a snack, our guide will inform us about the adventures of the following day.

Early in the morning, we’ll set off without our luggage to visit the fascinating Cofán community. In the afternoon, we’ll return to the Kichwa Lodge to unwind and reflect on our day’s experiences.

After packing our bags, we’ll say goodbye to the Kichwa Lodge and head towards the Siona village. After a long journey by boat, we’ll stay in a spectacular glamping site (Siona Camp), fully immersed in the rainforest. As night falls, we’ll participate in a spiritual cleansing ritual, an ancient and sacred act of purification that will deeply connect us with the essence of the Amazon. This ritual, performed by the guardians of tradition, will mark a memorable end to our journey. Finally, we’ll prepare to return to the city, carrying with us unforgettable memories of this incredible adventure.
