Quito – Cuyabeno – Quito

Lagarto Cocha Eco-Glamping, 7-Days / 6-Nights

Depart from Coca towards the Eastern Lands, enjoying a midday lunch before embarking on a charming journey along the Aguarico River in a boat and motorized canoe. Upon arrival at the sacred grounds of Kichwa Lodge, relax in the embrace of hammocks until dinner, where our guide will extend a warm welcome.

Wake up to a sunrise feast and prepare for a grand odyssey deeper into the Ecuadorian Amazon, with the mystical Zancudo Cocha as our next destination. As twilight descends, find comfort in the glamping cabin provided by the local guardians. We will spend the night here. Dinner awaits, followed by nocturnal walks to observe the whimsical dance of creatures such as frogs, snakes, and other nocturnal inhabitants.

Embark on a serene morning voyage along the lagoon, a respectful tribute to the wildlife that calls this realm home. After breakfast, gather your belongings and continue the journey. Lunch will be shared aboard the canoe as we head to our glamping refuge for a two-night stay at Lagarto Cocha, on the border of Ecuador and Peru.

Embrace the dawn with an expedition along the Lagarto Cocha River. After a morning meal, navigate through various lagoons such as Emuya and Delfín Cocha, interact with pink dolphins, and witness the vibrant ballet of parrots and macaws feeding on sacred clay. As the day winds down, return to the camping cabin for a communal dinner.

With the first rays of the sun, bid farewell to our gracious hosts and begin the journey back to the Kichwa Lodge for the final dinner.

At dawn, we leave early with our luggage for the last activity: climb the observation tower to witness the majestic flight of the harpy eagle and other celestial winged and furry beings. Return to Coca by 10:00 a.m., carrying with you the memories of this magical escape.

Return to Quito. Don’t forget that the entire Kichwa Lodge team will provide all necessary amenities at the various locations mentioned. Camping gear is provided, with shared bathrooms and cold showers.
